Adele has been operating Catroux for the past 7 years.
A passionate, food-obsessed chef! After studying a Diploma in Culinary Arts and working in various Auckland restaurants, I left for London aged 21. I spent a few years as Sous Chef at an event catering company running a team and cooking at numerous events and venues. Eventually, I left for the sun. I spent time in the Bahamas, Mexico, France, Switzerland, Sardinia and lastly Miami.
After three years of super yacht life I returned home, with one goal only - to open a beautiful neighborhood cafe full of delicious homemade food in a simple setting that reflected my passion for food. On my last trip back to France before opening the cafe I read an article on the plane about Betty Catroux. Her style and elegance immediately connected with me and her elegant qualities to my Westmere location (and this is how the naming of 'Catroux' came about)
