Adele worked as a chef overseas for 7 years. She had one goal when moving home; to open a lovely local neighbourhood cafe.

Catroux opened in 2011, completely fitting out a dark and gloomy bar to a white vibrant space.

Catroux began catering a few years later. Their first client was Les Mills International, who are still a regular client today.

This was just the start and word spread fast. Now Catroux is a Cafe as well as a busy caterer.

After years of 7-day weeks, stretched to keep up, the time approached for Adele to step away from juggling working in the kitchen and running the catering orders in the office.

No stranger to Catroux, a long term chef of our kitchen, Melissa, joined as a partner in 2018.

Together the relationship works like a charm, allowing Catroux to be as busy as it is.
