Our Story

Catroux opened in 2011, with a complete new fitout from a dark and gloomy bar to a white vibrant space.
Adele worked abroad for 7 years with only one goal when moving home was to open a local neighbourhood cafe.
Catroux began catering a year or two later, our first (and still a regular client) Les Mills International. This was the start of it all. Now catroux is a cafe as well as a busy caterer.

After years of 7-day weeks, stretched to keep up, the time approached for Adele to step away from juggling the kitchen and office.
New partner Melissa joined the team. No stranger to Catroux - A long term chef of our busy kitchen!
Together the relationship works like chalk and cheese, allowing Catroux to be as busy as it is.
